The School strives to provide continued leadership in non-traditional education with an emphasis on educating licensed practical nurses to offer opportunities for women of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and to those who might otherwise have been excluded from career advancement; to prepare certified professionals who benefit from their increased level of expertise; and to provide the base for further professional education.
