In this trade, the trainees are trained primarily to perform various types of welding operations of gas and electric welding such as arc welding, gas welding, different types of welding joints, welding on different types of material. Special attention is given to the nature of skills and expertise required by the employers for the selection of the topics of practical assignments. To impart the best training skills to students the job is discussed theoretically in the classroom and then performed in the workshops under the close observation of our instructors. Performed jobs of the students are evaluated and considered for the internal assessment.

After completing this course of studies, the trainees are expected to get job the areas of mechanical production, mechanical maintenance, fabrication of the mechanical spares and equipments, erection of mechanical machineries, etc.
